| Description | Surrendering the one up relationship is the key to motivating the difficult to reach student. It involves the following: Communicating to all your students that they have value and worth because of who they are, not because of their accomplishments or failures. Acknowledging to students that they are the experts on their own lives. Consistently looking at the positive attributes of your students. In this Train the Trainer workshop, participants will learn how to teach this 9 module curriculum that can be put into practice immediately to help create a more positive and motivating school culture. The modules can fit into school meetings or institute days. A building administrator must attend with any additional staff who plan to teach this content in their school. |
